Shared Collections — Curate and Share Your Favorite 3D Models

We just launched Shared Collections — a new way to curate and share your favorite 3D models with anyone, no login required.

What Are Shared Collections?

Collections have always been a great way to organize models on 3DSEARCH. Now you can make any collection public and share it with a single link. Whether it's your best Gridfinity designs, a curated list of miniatures, or gift ideas for fellow makers — anyone with the link can browse your collection.

How It Works

  1. Go to your Collections page
  2. Open any collection and click the 🔒 Share button
  3. Your collection is now public — the link is automatically copied to your clipboard
  4. Share the link anywhere: Discord, Reddit, forums, social media, or with friends

It's that simple. One click to share, one click to make it private again.

What Visitors See

When someone opens your shared collection link, they see a clean, beautiful page with all your curated models — including thumbnails, designer names, download counts, and source badges. They can click any model to view its full detail page on 3DSEARCH.

Your profile name and avatar appear at the top, along with the number of models in the collection and a view counter showing how many people have seen it.

Add Descriptions

Once a collection is shared, you can add a description to give context. Explain what the collection is about, why you chose these models, or add printing tips. The description is visible to everyone who views the collection.

Track Popularity

Every shared collection has a view counter. See how many people have checked out your curated list. It's a great way to know if your collection is resonating with the community.

Get Started

Head to your Collections page, pick a collection, and hit Share. Your curated list is now live on the internet.

Don't have any collections yet? Start by browsing models and clicking the folder icon on any model card to create your first collection.
