Laser & Blade-Cut Models Are Now Live on MakerWorld! We're excited to launch a brand-new category for laser and blade-cut designs on MakerWorld! Our first 2D design competition will revolve around the theme: “Boxes.” Your submission can be for storage, decoration, organization, or any other creative purpose. We encourage you to unleash your imagination and craftsmanship to create box designs that are both functional and visually appealing, using techniques like laser engraving and laser cutting. To ensure structural strength and stability, we recommend using sturdy materials such as wood. Feel free to incorporate features like nesting structures, snap-fit joints, engraved patterns, and other personalized details. Whether you draw inspiration from modern minimalism or traditional motifs, we look forward to seeing truly unique and inventive creations. Through this 2D design challenge, we aim to keep expanding the creative possibilities of laser-cut models and to provide our users with high-quality, practical templates for real-world use. Make sure to upload a detailed assembly guide with your model to ensure a successful build. Models with no assembly guide will be ineligible for prize consideration.
