Let there be Light Design Contest

Explore light and shadow, and unleash your creativity by crafting unique lighting objects with 3D printing. Whether it's a light box featuring your favorite pop culture icon or a functional lamp design you'd like to share with the community, anything that illuminates is welcome. We're seeking ingenious designs that master the combination of different materials and print settings. Don't forget to try out our new PETG translucent filaments. Surprise the judges with your creativity, and let there be light! Here are some potential ideas: Play with translucent materials, blending colors in to meticulous shades. e.g. Translucent light box Play with combinations of geometries, explore the fun of projection. e.g. Shadow play set Play with reflections. e.g. Pilot light with reflection Unique light source - looking forward to the weirdest light source! Note: Each contestant will be allowed up to 5 entries per contest. Uploads exceeding this limit will result in possible removal from the contest page and the contestant will be disqualified.
