Search results not pulling in all models for a search for the term fanntik ( other search terms affected).

Bug Voltooid FunkDialout 04.06.2026
I tried searching for the term "fanntik" today and it only returns 13 models 3DSearch Link: https://3dsearch.net/?q=fanntik&sources%5B%5D=printables&sources%5B%5D=thingiverse&sources%5B%5D=myminifactory&sources%5B%5D=cults3d&sources%5B%5D=makerworld&sources%5B%5D=makeronline&sources%5B%5D=grabcad&sources%5B%5D=crealitycloud Makerworld has at a minimum of 20 that are returned: https://makerworld.com/en/search/models?keyword=fanntik Printables is returning 158 models for the same query: https://www.printables.com/search/models?q=fanntik This is the first time I have seen the search be this far off from expectations, not sure if a recent change (search operators possibly lol) or a temporary issue with API/Scraping but wanted to put it on the list in the event it's not temporary. I tried checking to see if the issue was isolated to that search term and it appears the same thing is occurring with other terms, the other I tested was searching for IK Multimedia. No search operators used for any of the searches.

Thanks for the detailed report — this turned out to be a real one, and your examples made it easy to pin down. The models were all there in the index (600+ for that brand), but the search was stopping too early: because a handful of listings contained the exact misspelling, the engine considered that "enough" and never broadened to near-spellings, so the bulk of results were hidden. I've adjusted the typo handling, and that same search now returns 600+ instead of ~13. Good news is it's not specific to that term — it improves results for any search with brand names or small typos. Fixed and live. Thanks again for flagging it! Pls test it br Chris

Cheers, that means a lot! Today's outage was a hardware glitch on the server fixed now. I've also got a backfill running in the background that's filling in a ton of missing model descriptions, so search should keep getting better over the next days. Thanks for the support!
