I had just started looking more into the print queue today and noticed the filament management I had completely missed. I did notice that the filament type options were pretty basic (understandable to start of course).

When adding filament spools to your print queue inventory expanding the types of filament to include the following would be a nice improvement, these are what I have gathered online, albeit a few are exceptionally rare, but I'm assuming the list would be a pretty simple update codewise:

Done — all of them are live! 🎉
Thanks for the detailed list, that was super helpful. The filament type dropdown on the Print Queue now includes all 49 materials you suggested — from the common PLA/PETG/ABS right through to the exotic ones like PEEK, PEKK, PSU, PVDF and the rest.
You'll find them under https://3dsearch.net/printqueue.php?tab=filament when adding a spool: the most-used types are pinned at the top, the rest are sorted alphabetically. I also restructured how the list is stored so adding more in the future is trivial — so if you ever come across a type that's missing, just shout.
Appreciate you digging into the filament management and taking the time to write this up. Happy printing! 🧵
