This tool is used to get PCR strip tubes ejected from the a rack like this (https://us.vwr.com/store/product/4907380/pcr-tube-storage-racks-axygen-scientific). There's been plenty of times where I close the caps of the strip tubes and find myself struggling to get them out of the tool.

Not tested yet.
