Bulbasaur is a quadrupedal reptilian Pokémon, significantly larger than its pre-evolved form. Its skin is blue-green, and the dark patches from its pre-evolution form have disappeared, replaced by wart-like bumps resembling those on a toad's back. Bulbasaur has a pair of ears on top of its head, with red inner surfaces. Its eyes remain orange-red. In addition to the two upper fangs present since its pre-evolution stage, two small fangs have grown on each side of its lower jaw. The bud on its back has now blossomed into a massive flower, supported by a light brown, palm-like trunk-like structure. The flower consists of six red, trapezoidal petals and a yellow, crown-shaped stigma. Each petal features two triangular notches at its tip. Three irregular white spots adorn each petal, while the stigma bears eleven sharp points. Similar to its pre-evolution form, four large banana-leaf-like leaves sprout from the base of the “trunk,” arranged in a cross pattern extending toward the top of its head, its back, and both sides of its body. Its claws are three-toed with white nails, and its legs have grown thicker than Bulbasaur's. The female flower bears a single seed.
