1/2" CPVC Cap

On Christmas Day the temperature dropped below 0 F and everyone's pipes froze in the region. No stores open and needing to get water going again, I designed a cap to plug the line to be able to turn water back on. 1/2"CPVC caps were not available; no stores open and everyone's pipes were bursting; the designed cap/plug can be used on 1/2" CPVC pipe. The plug held for 4 weeks until the pipe was fully repaired.

Just used regular PVC glue (no primer).
Increase the in-filler as high as you can to reduce any water pressing through.
