While printing a wind vane off maker world by cadex1, I was looking for some sort of mount. I decided to design my own and instead of drilling a hole in my wooden post the mount. I made a simple print that can be secured by using screws. I also added some set screws that keep the wind vane from blowing away from any updrafts. The mount has a inside hole diameter ½ OD and can be used for more than just a wind vane. You can use it to mount flag post or anything with a ½"post. I used petg for mounting outside temperatures, but used at least 4 walls to give it some strength and tree support.
