1/72 Asad Babil

A heavily modified model of m_bergman and kkentium's T-72 model. Asad Babil in multicolor print. The “Asad Babil” or “Lion of Babylon” is an Iraqi local-assembled T-72M1. This tank is similar to the T-72M1's with the only differences being that Asad Babils' were lower quality T-72M1s and they included a Chinese electro-optical interference pod. This tank can be printed in dark green and the interference pod removed to represent a regular T-72M1 however. The tank tracks were completely redesigned to make it more realistic and detailed compared to the thicker and simple 1/100 tracks. The turret is also given a somewhat moveable gun, with the gun friction-fitted to the turret using a sliding hinge-joint, it also sports the electro-optical interference pod sported on Asad Babils'.
