A nice little knob I designed to hold down my miter saw using threaded inserts in my pullout work top. I chose to use 2" screws so I could potentially use the holes as tie points for other objects.
To assemble, simply screw in the bolt and snug up a nut to the bottom. The nut may not be necessary, or you might want to use a lock washer. For my purposes I am hand snugging it and the nut is not really necessary, but since the pack of bolts comes with it I figured it didn't hurt to use it. The nut also gives a more resilient surface so the knobs should last longer.
