Training Clock Laser Engraved

My grand-daughter is desperate to learn how to tell the time so her Mom will buy her a watch for her next birthday. This training clock is similar to a number found on the web - presenting time in minutes PAST and minutes TO the hour.

A cheap E-Bay clock mechanism (get the "silent" type) costs less than $2 with hands. The clock face was engraved on 3mm MDF using a K40 (chinese ebay) laser. The stand elements were simply glued to the back.

I left the seconds hand off to save confusion -
