Moen 1417 Roman Tub Hand Shower Elbow insert

This is a replacement plastic insert to the Moen 1417BN. Mine broke after I dropped something on the hand shower head and it snapped off, but don't tell the wife that. To my horror, the list replacement price for the whole elbow is a whopping $65.

To remove the old plastic insert, I ended up drilling it out until it. There are 2 additional pieces to the assembly, a plastic retaining clip (like a letter C) and a #9 o-ring (5/8" OD x 7/16" ID x 3/32). Be careful not to destroy the retaining rin
