Simple iPad Stand - For Case

I really liked the looks of cswaim's "Simple iPad Stand", but lately we have been putting the iPad in a case for my daughter to use it. (We use a Beetle Defense case for our iPad, which I think is a 4th gen iPad, IIRC.) I widened the opening for the iPad by extending the front jaws by 8mm, and it works pretty well.

My printer uses 3mm filament which is basically 1/8", so I just cut off a section of filament and pounded it in with a hammer for the hinge pin. Works great, no glue needed because
