One Dimensional Connect Four

A couple of years ago, I turned a pencil-and-paper game into a more permanent, hand-made wooden version.

Recently, I was stirred to play the game again when Instructables member "patatarium" posted a version he had made, but I was disappointed when I remembered that I had given the original away (I tend to do that, or I'd disappear under a pile of Things).

So, it seemed the ideal time to remake the game in a laserable form.
