Not sure if this is the place to post this and not certain this is an option in you design process, but could you consider the following:

I noticed that the head inserts where one color, but that at certain layer heights that color was not used.
Thus creating color changes that are unnecessary, to solve this I did the following.

I used the height range option (in OrcaSlicer) on the ribbon of the hat, to make the layers one color.
This way the inserts of the head pins is now in two col
