Holder for hobbing in a lathe.

I made this holder for hobbing diy extruder gears in a lathe. It's very stiff due to the support fin. It is made for 19mm ball bearings and the hole is slightly oversize to make it easier to insert the bearings. It is 10mm thick so it will fit a mini lathe tool posts.

I made a brass gear with it, using 19x6mm bearings, a 6mm shaft and the pre turned brass cylinder.
