This is a mount to build a beacon finder based. The beacon will be a polarized light . Each hole will contain a LDR sensor and infront of the hole there will be polarized film. The film coverint the top hole will be oriented 90 degrees from the bottom hole. If a polarized light is in front of a pair of sensors the level difference between the two sensors.
