Uncle Sam Circus Stiltwalker

Just in time for the 4th of July, Uncle Sam is on stilts leading many celebration parades.Circus parades were always patriotic, but more so during the two great wars of the 20th century when a stilt-walking Sam would lead both street parades and the spectaculars under the big top. The tall hat and the striped trousers (see attached photo) both ad to the illusion of Sam's height.

The model is roughly scaled to 1/4 inch per foot. Approximately O scale.
