Spool Holder for 20mm rod or pipe

This very simple spool holder bracket was designed to hold my filament rolls, by mounting a length of 20mm HDPE pipe, inside a plastic box (to protect the filament from moisture).

I went for this design because it was simple, and used HDPE pipe that I had laying around, which is nice and low friction, so we had been using it as a dodgy pipe support when we first got the printer running.

I have included designs for open or closed brackets. The open bracket allows you to take the spool
