This thing goes in the back of your car radio head unit, and basically supports it from the rear. It's often found in dash trim kits for radios, but sometimes you lose it or it never came with the kit and you'd call up the manufacturer and ask for one but *you can't be bothered to email them and hope they reply and then wait a few weeks for them to ship one to you because you need to install your radio* ***right now dammit.***
