Focuser mount for a homemade dobsonian telescope with an 8" primary mirror and a 12" tube inner diameter. I included the original FreeCAD file so that the parametric can be adjusted to fit your needs.
Uses m6 bolts and nuts for final assembly to scope.
Took a photo of the moon via cell camera thru eyepiece... This was a vast improvement, as prior eyepiece was loose. I borrowed this scope from a local club and was pleased to return it in better shape than before.
Basic usage:
Adjust mount until it meets your needs. Use "SizeOfScopeSlicer" inner and outer to adjust for the inner and outer diameter of your tube. Export each half and then print.
FILES:
-.stl of basic slices to fit a 12" barrel, as well as the entire mount to be sliced as you see fit.
-FreeCAD file with parametric for modification.
