BB-8 Christmas toy / ornament

this is a little bb8 toy i made for my grandson doubles as a christmas ornament
Just finished this on the 16th of december. Had no time to tune or test, but the prototype is cute and rolls.
when fully functional it should roll freely and the head should stay on the top as it does.

Now if someone with a better reprap and some paints could make a good copy to show it off... I would be eternally grateful.
