Quadcopter Smartphone Holder

This is a smartphone holder to attach an HTC Desire to our quadkopter www.mikrokopter.de M4. It was designed by 3D-scanning the smartphone and modelling a space frame with Siemens NX in context with the scan data. It is an overall lightweight design and the smartphones center of gravity is located exactly on the Z axis of the quadcopter. The tilt angle is adjusted to the cameras viewing angle.

By using an IP webcam app on the smartphone we can transfer live video via WiFi during flight.
