The second part I've designed for my full-sized BB-8 build. The holoprojector should accommodate a 1" acorn capsule (those plastic capsules that vending machine dispense).
This is the third iteration and I'm much happier with this one. Except for the number of dimples in the lens ring interior (to allow for print resolution), it's much more accurate now.
