My resolution for 2016 is to learn how to use Arduino, so I bought a set that includes a breadboard along with the microcontroller.
To save myself some juggling, I made this simple base-board to hold the Arduino and the breadboard still while I plug in stuff to see what happens. It also has a space to hold a 9V battery, come the time I need it.
It's two parts, cut from 3mm MDF, and fixed together with superglue (that's the stain at the top of the board, the glue dripped). The breadboard
