Boolier

(We say boulier for abacus, thus that pun with George Bool, father of the famous boolean algebra)

It's an object to teach computer science to kids, without computers :)
e.g.: JPEG compression and other binary related things.

The original idea was brought up by friends at our Makerspace for the Science Fair.
And there will be others things to come in this "Computer Science In Real Life" project :)
