Hi,
This is SSD Enclosure Adapter Case for iMac (all flat-screen models from 2004 up to 2008).
It's designed to replace the 3"1/2 HDD by a 2"1/2 SSD, including the plastic clip and the 4 screws.
The SSD is intentionaly positioned close to the connectors (which have very short cables)
It fits perfectly in an iMac 17" (early 2006, see pictures) and in a 24" (mid 2008).
I will design soon a variant of this case for those starting late 2008 (up to 2012), which have a different inner design.
