Handle clips for drill press / milling machine vise

I have a 1990's vintage Craftsman drill press vise (sorry, model number unknown) mounted on my Harbor Freight milling machine. Under some conditions, the handle will drop down and interfere with parts of the milling machine table, so I needed a way to keep the handle centered. Until now, I've been using rubber bands, but they don't last long. These clips snap right on to the handle and keep it in place.
