This is a whirligig that I had made a few years ago out of wood. I decided to try making it again, this time 3D printing the parts.
The Assembly_guide.pdf file will show how it goes together. Once the model is glued and the hardware attached, find the balance point and glue the swivel with attached rod to the base at that point. This location could vary depending on the type of plastic, hardware, and scaling you may have used.
