Electric latch for a trapdoor style project.Made to fit ½" Plywood.Uses right hand wedge style solenoid from AliExpress found here. They are SARY brand 12v/0.4A Normally extended solenoids.Tested up to 10 pounds load results depend on power supply. Tested up to 24v best results using 18v battery with lots of available inrush current.Case screws are some 1/8" by 5/8" wood screws. The holes are 0.1" dia.The springs used are 1" by 3/16" repurposed from some throw away pens b
