IKEA FLYGEL Lamp Support

The IKEA FLYGEL lamp is an inexpensive Halogen desk lamp. Unfortunately, the support struts are very weak. At best, the lamp would often slowly slip down; and if you put any side pressure on it, the supports would snap.

So, I measured and prepared this replacement. Remove the lamp arm by unscrewing the side bolts all the way on both sides. Use pliers or a dremel to remove the old struts; I used pliers and it was surprisingly easy to snap off the remaining undamaged strut. Then clean it up wi
