Transformer case

Case for a transformer taken from old JVC 5.1 home theatre amplifier. It is still a work in progress so some dimensions might change slightly. The transformer gives nicely a 26V/5A output from one secondary coil, so I decided to use it as a power supply for having more power to the 3D printer's heat bed, which was at original 15 volts and did not reach ABS temperatures. With the higher voltage it was possible to reach 120 degrees celcius, with the original only 70 degrees celcius. The case is ab
