I liked the original design but didn't want to screw or cut into the acrylic, so I modified it to use glue and magnets instead. I also used 2mm acrylic which is cheaper, and this changed some of the parts a little.
I used:
• 6 - 3mm x 20mm hex screws (socket cap)
• 4 - 8mm x 1.5mm neodymium magnets (found on ebay)
• 1 - 311mm x 385mm x 2mm acrylic sheet. Anything between 300 and 311mm wide should work, and obviously height will depend on extended or normal.
