For this design, I chose to make a model of a car with articulated wheels:
The four wheels sit on respective ball joints attached to a base axel frame. The body of the car then was merged onto the center of the frame. The final design of the model used creases and chamfers to add edges to the core body. This gave it a bug inspired roadster design.
