Termostat Mount for incubator

I put together and incubator to hatch some chicken eggs I have Silkie chickens.
I looked at instructions on line some use the same thermostat it's made for a water heater cost less than $10 and covers the temp of 98-100deg f. with a 25w light bulb
They all showed mounting it up against the wall of the box but that flat side is the side that needs air flow.
So I made this mount to hold it about 3/4in from the wall
