Cover a gap/unevenness of but-jointed L shape shelves by putting a rounder cover over the corner.

The opening is 9/16ths of an inch + 0.2mm for tolerance so 16.4mm as the actual thickness of particle board is more than a half inch.

As always, made with sketchup for easy adjustments.
