Made for George Mason University Math 493 - Mathematics Through 3-D Printing
This is a 3-D plot of the above Julia set with the height increased.
The print took 4 hours 23 minuets on a makerbot 5th-generation printer without raft or supports. The dimensions in mm are ~132 x ~121 x ~31.
This was designed in Mathematica after fooling around with the Julia plot and finding a pattern that I found do be interesting.
