I always like to take a spare battery and a spare SD-card along with my Canon PowerShot SX40. So I constructed this "thing" to be a battery cap that protects the poles of the spare battery in my pocket and serves as well as a card holder for one spare SD-card and one microSD-card (I often use microSDs with an SD converter card).
