Dishwasher door spring coupler

There was a flimsy little plastic coupler that snapped between the counterbalance lever and spring of my dishwasher door, causing both to be missing and for the door to flop down too fast when I open it. After spending about $6.50 at O'Reilly's Auto Parts for an assortment of springs, I had to create this lovely replacement for the other missing part and get that door back to normal operation.
