HLV cones

Localization of a gravitational wave source using three detectors: LIGO Hanford, LIGO Livingston, and Virgo. Each edge of the triangle provides a time-difference between signal arrival, and a corresponding cone where the source might lie. The intersection of the three cones (gray bar) is the direction of the source in the sky.
