I needed a way I could monitor prints from other rooms in the house and I had this old c525 laying around. This mounts to the z-axis motor mount by replacing the two screws with two m3 screws that are about 18mm long.
Originally there was going to be a piece of m3 threaded rod with wing nuts to lock the ball joint in place. The socket itself came out a little undersized and the lock wasn't necessary but the holes are still present.
