This hub makes a side paddle wheel drive out of a differential drive Battle Wheels radio controlled toy.
The hex shaft of the original toy has a screw hole in the end. To print this hub without support I just provided a guidance dimple for drilling through before inserting the screw.
I made the 4 paddles from the sides of a polyethylene margarine tub with the curves facing backward. The paddles then bend for protection from impacts on obstacles, but spring back into shape afterwards. The
