I attached an EDTracker to the end of the shaft of a helicopter cyclic and tested it as a joystick. It worked great. Smoother than the retail stick I already owned.
So I designed a box that would allow you to slip the box directly on to the end of a PVC shaft.

The cover that slips on to the shaft needs some slight adjustment for size, and will be updated shortly.
