Smooth rod straightness tester

I needed a way to mount my dial indicator/gauge for checking the straightness of rods.
I had problems with chinese rods not holding up to spec so this was a way to get some numbers.

Print 2 end-holders and 1 base-holder and 1 dial-holder, and then bolt them straight on a straight surface, such as MDF.

The holes for bolting are 3mm and the dial indicator-hole is 8mm.
The pointy rod on the end-holder is for strapping down the rod with a rubber-band or similar.
