This is a 6 turn helical antenna . I used a 41 mm hole saw on single sided FR4 PCB.
the hole on the base fits RG402 cable nice and snug. I found that if i strip the shield and about half on the dielectric thickness off the last 1/4 of the cable i can get my feed gap to be .5mm or less. This antenna checked out to be a 1.02 SWR with my home made IBCrazy SWR meter.
I built this for 5705 Mhz (5.705Ghz)
I printed in .3mm layers in PLA with 20% fill
