More information to come...
This is my first time designing a 150g combat robot. I'd really like to build it this summer but I'm afraid I won't have access to a 3D printer.
My design was really rushed, I just learned about the competition a few days ago... and I had to study for my finals... Anyways
The robot is quite simple, it's a wedge bot with a pivot, lot of space for electronics and upgrades.
the motors are held down by zip-ties.
The top plate is held down by #4 x 5/8 metal screws.
The wedge uses M4 bolts going in the frame in threading in the wedge.
Drive motor: N20 motor with a 30:1 ratio
Power switch: Fingertech Mini Power Switch
Battery: Galaxy 2S 180 mAh
ESC: Endbots DESC with Lemon-RX
For wheels I used a lego wheel i have laying around witch a custom rim, the rim will also work with O-rings as thread or with rubber bands...
Wheels from .75in ( with a modified top plate) can work up to 1.5 inch.
Fingertech wheels will work perfectly!
