The model originated as a CT scan found online of a person's skull. After download, it was applied to a program called 3D Slicer, where the bone was separated from the rest of the scan. This was done by applying a volume rendering tool, then using a density detector to identify the bone by density. Afterwards, it was saved as an .stl file, uploaded to Meshmixer, imperfections analyzed and fixed. (It originally had 2244 mistakes) And now here it is.
