Rubber band dampener

I had a terrible noise issue with my i3 due to vibrations transmission to a wooden desk.

Now noise is completely gone. Even if the printer oscillates this does not affect print quality. It's better, imho, indeed.

Use rubber bands (about 6cm diameter) - at least 5 per feet, each rubber band is twisted 4 times around the piece. Do this accordingly with the size and strength of the bands you have. Add more or less bands per feet if your printer weight is not distributed evenly.
