Coffee filter holder

I made this filter holder to fit inexpensive, pleated paper coffee filters.

This general style of filter can rest on almost any convenient container. But the one I had is made to fit the cone filters, like Melitta. Cone filters are better quality, but seem to be finer (at 20 microns ?), and it takes longer to filter things.

I only needed to coarsely filter (cold) deep fryer oil into quart-size plastic containers, so I whipped this thing up. And the operation is pretty quick, filtering the
